Our first couple of weeks with Ella were filled with doctor's appointments to check her weight and bilirubin levels and visits with the lactation consultant. Here she is at about 5 days old:
Later that month, her Oma and Opa came to visit, and she enjoyed her first Thanksgiving with them and my family. She also started smiling at about 3 weeks. This is the best picture we have of an early smile:
She also loves her puppies. This is the first time she really noticed Bailey:
