Field trip to Early Works Museum

Early Works is a children's history museum. The kids (Tessa too) had a great time. When we got home, I asked Ella what her favorite part of the museum was. She said she liked all the parts, but they didn't have any animals or penguins.

It was a beautiful night to go out to Bridge Street. We did a little shopping, had pizza, rode the carousel and danced to the music. The girls had a blast.

Saturday morning

This morning we went to an animal stage show at the botanical gardens. Ella's favorite animal was the skunk, which she pronounces "snunk" because she has a hard time with the sk sound. She got so excited when they brought her out. Afterward we walked through the butterfly house the check out the turtles. Tessa thought that was great. She was not happy when we put her in the car to go home, but she was passed out before we even left the parking lot.

Loving this weather

This week has been beautiful. It's been like summer. We've even enjoyed the occasional pop up thunder showers. Today the girls and I enjoyed our lunch on the patio while we listened to the rain and thunder.

February

February was cold and yucky and we didn't really do much. A few things we did do: the girls played in their house, Chase and Bailey played some Candy Land, Ella and I built our own little Disney World, and the girls climbed into the cabinets.
