More horses

On Labor Day, we went to the farm. Ella wanted to go see the horses. She especially liked the baby, but the big ones were a little bit intimidating.

The fair

We took Ella to the fair on Sunday. She really liked the petting zoo.

She also rode her first pony. Before we left, we told her there would be horses there and she said she wanted to ride a big horse. When we got there she still said she wanted to ride. I wasn't sure how she'd do once she got on the pony, but she said she was sure. So, we paid the $5 for her to ride the pony for a few minutes and she loved it. She wasn't scared at all. It was $5 well spent.

Saturday morning at the Botanical Gardens

We finally had some beautiful (not hot and miserable) weather, so we decided to make the most of it even though Ella still had a little cold. She really liked the turtles in the butterfly house.

She also really liked the slide and didn't want to leave.
