Until now Ella's been eating mostly purees with the occasional puff or piece of bread, but I wanted her to start eating whatever we're eating. So on Sunday night, I made meatloaf, cheese potatoes and turnip greens, and thought I'd give her a little bit to try. She LOVED it.

After lunch, we cooled off in the park downtown. This was the highlight of the day for Ella.

We finished the day at the children's museum.

Because the weather was so nice this weekend, we drove to Chattanooga with the Chans. Our first stop was the zoo.

Last Friday, Ella and I went to breakfast with some of her friends. We then all went to the park to feed the ducks.

Ella has decided that she needs to put her thumb in her mouth after almost every bite of food. Needless to say, it makes for a very messy mealtime.

Ella really enjoyed the afternoon we spent at the zoo. We fed the deer...

In June, Ella and I joined Bjoern on a business trip and then spent a few days at the beach. One of the highlights for Ella was rolling around in the big, fluffy hotel bed.
